After graduating from the University of Washington with a Masters in Mathematics, I was drawn to the Sierra 15 years ago by the mountains. I worked as a climbing guide and ski instructor until the pandemic when I decided it was time to settle down and get a “real” job. After apprenticing with a local accountant for several years, I started my own firm in 2024. I studied and passed the exams to become a licensed Enrolled Agent, which is an IRS designation equivalent to a CPA for tax purposes. I also do payroll and bookkeeping for small businesses.
